I am starting this blog in the hopes that I can share useful information as well as provide some fun content all related to hobbies light displays.
For a little bit of background, I started Lights of the Night in 2010 offering custom sequencing for residential displays. I have been sequencing since 2005 and I started this company when I was only 15 years old. Over the past 10 years, I have sequenced many displays, both residential and commercial, all over the world using both Light-O-Rama (LOR) and xLights software. It is my desire to grow Lights of the Night into a well-rounded company. By doing this, I want to offer not only custom sequencing but also pre-sequences that can be downloaded and imported into any display, all from the comfort of your own home. I’d like to offer show equipment for affordable prices as well.
I am also going to start offering how-to material, tips, and tricks, and other light show related information for free; which is where this blog comes in handy. On this blog you can expect to see many topics come up, some may just be introductions, others may be more in-depth, but I want to cover all kinds of topics that I think others- especially anyone just getting into this hobby- will find useful. I’ll also post updates to my own display to give a real-world perspective on the topics I cover.
I’d love these blogs to be interactive, so feel free to comment on a blog, I promise I will reply.
I look forward to this journey with you!
